Highways Agency has developed the Desktop Traffic Headlines application to let you know the traffic information anytime you want. So long as you're connected to the Internet, you can view full details about traffic incidents in real time, without even having to open your web browser.
To take advantage of this free service, all you need to do is download and install a small file to your computer. It will put a small car icon in the bottom corner of your screen, which you can click whenever you want, to scroll through traffic incidents at your own pace.
